At least once a week, I will have a person contact my Krav Maga training center expressing an interest in learning our self-defense and fighting technique but have concerns about training due to being older and/or out of shape.

Most of these people are in their 50’s, 60’s, or 70’s and want to learn a practical self-defense system like our Krav Maga curriculum teaches but are worried about getting injured or not being able to keep up during training.

Having over 21 years of Krav Maga teaching experience has allowed me to find that balance between realistic training while maintaining safety for my students.

For those with very specific concerns and needs, I also offer private lessons (one-on-one) so I can customize the training to that individual.

In this video my student Laura shares her experience with my Krav Maga program. Laura has been training on and off with us since 2015. She is currently in her 70’s and has graduated both our Level 1 and 2 curriculum. She sets a great example that anyone can train in our Krav Maga program regardless of age! I tell all my students, regardless of their age or athletic ability, to just “make the most out of what you got”. As long as they have this mindset and are willing to put in the work, anyone can do Krav Maga training with us!
