Basically students in Level 1 learn fundamental striking with the hands that includes straight punches, palm heel strikes, eye gouges, throat strikes, and hammerfists. Students learn how to utilize these strikes in all sorts of directions and learn to find high-value targets on opponents.

Some of these strikes would be considered illegal or a foul in a sanctioned sport fight…but Krav Maga Worldwide self-defense was created without consideration for rules or fair competition. We teach students to use whatever means necessary to fight back, win, and go home safe.
