Identify and Eliminate the Immediate Danger.
.
So, when considering a technique, we’re always looking at what is the immediate danger in this technique and we build our defenses off of that first.
.
So, for example, if someone is choking you, the immediate danger is the thumbs on the choke. If someone has a gun to your head, what’s the immediate danger? It’s being in the line of fire when the gun is fired.
.
So, we know we need to eliminate these dangers first before we continue with the rest of the defense.
